item is a little something off-topic, because it is not this is opera, but about two piano concertos by Mozart (22 & 25), but hey - I got the CD after all new! ;)

First of all the trappings: the cover is pretty, with elaborately staged hands of the pianist and without frills. But I find the content Booklett grenzgradig frankly embarrassing: two days ago I heard cursing David Fray in a paper to 3sat on the blind marketing of classical music - the only youth, looks and charm is one of media attention. Apart from the fact that he quite accurately fills these criteria, he meets yet another criterion by which the classical music market since he is accused and their customers no better than several talent shows to be almost crave: the good old intellect. A pianist with brains was needed then. And so you get the first paragraph of every report on Mr Fray unequivocally made it clear that the boy has read almost in kindergarten Hegel and Kant - the thing which I suppose one has to be clarified once and for all and the time-honored understanding of art of all classical music listeners might be saved. Categorically belonging to the philosophical Community interest, David's philosophical thoughts on the music anybody. The main thing they sound in a sea of schörkeligen adjectives and two or three hints towards any philosophy in Booklett with.

Well, stupid is that I him - whether as victims or advertising of mature buyers had sometimes to be seen - really like to like. His Bach and Schubert CD is already in my record collection and also I was at his most unusual concert since his existence as a classic star: played on 16.04.2010 David Fray Mozart, Bach and Mendelssohn-Bartholdy himself in Lingen Theater an der Wilhelmshöhe . In view of this classic Inside the small Lingen, should be due to the fact of Mr. Fray's schonmal sometimes sell out concerts in various classical cities and extremely low ticket prices (first category = less than 30 EUR !!!!) accept but know that the theater had been completely sucks, with its meager 753 people. Nope: there was a gaping void in the wings and the nave was now not completely overrun grad ... .. He played, people clapped and then all went home. No Bravo, no frenetic cheering - it could have been the concert every Sunday in the far distant Cross Church. You could see the question marks over his meticulously marketed formally head ... .. This would be the Lingener audience as a true bulwark against the PR machine surely voted;)
